Hi, I’m Tim.
I write to explore and unpack how things keep moving forward despite making tons of mistakes. My essays usually focus on the weird self-defeating tricks our brains play on us and how to spot and overcome them. It’s the sort of stuff I wish I could teach my younger self, so maybe by some miracle I’ll teach someone else’s younger self something useful. I also occasionally write stories about the disasters and triumphs of my youth.
